report

All children have the right to grow up in a safe environment.  Child abuse, in all its forms, has a more long-lasting and negative effect on children, families and the whole community than most people realize.  At its worst, its destructive impact haunts its victim through life and can prevent the child from becoming a productive adult.  Parents who were mistreated as children will often mistreat their children.  Reporting child abuse is a first step in stopping this devastating cycle.  Abuse can be physical, verbal, emotional or sexual.

*If you believe a child has been abused or neglected, call the county Children and Family Services office at  909-384-9233 or 800-827-8724, or law enforcement in your area.  If the child is in imminent danger, please call 911.
